Drama Clubs at Hockerill provide students with a fun, creative space to explore theatre beyond the classroom. We offer year-specific clubs, like our Year 7 Drama Club, which focuses on building friendships and bringing stories to life through improvisation.

For older students, there is GCSE drama rehearsal support, offering extra time and staff guidance outside of lessons to develop performance skills.

Each year there are many performance opportunities, these have ranged from whole college musicals, pantomimes and plays to murder mystery evenings. Beyond acting, students can explore prop making, lighting, and sound design, developing a broad range of theatre skills.

Students have the option to attend theatre trips at the local theatre in Bishop's Stortford as well as excursions to Cambridge and London.
