Hockerill Parents and Friends

At HPF, our mission is to support the College and its students while fostering a strong sense of community through social events and fundraising. As a parent-led association, we aim to enrich the experience of both parents and students during their time at Hockerill. We are a friendly, inclusive, and welcoming group, and all funds raised are reinvested back into the school.

We organise a variety of events that blend fun with fundraising, including the annual Comedy Night, the Candlelight Supper accompanied by the Hockerill Jazz Band, and the end-of-year celebration. Additionally, we hold regular second-hand uniform sales and support school music and drama events by running the bar. You’ll also find us serving tea, coffee, and cake at Open Mornings.

Our informal social gatherings, such as coffee mornings held at the school, provide wonderful opportunities to connect with other members of the Hockerill community.

All parents automatically become members of HPF, and we warmly encourage every Hockerill parent to get involved and enjoy the benefits of being part of this vibrant community.

By volunteering a little of your time, you can help ensure the College has the means to purchase the extras that statutory funding may not cover—all while building connections and having fun. Match Funding

Does your workplace offer match funding? This can significantly boost our fundraising efforts. We would love to hear from you if your employer provides this.

Second-Hand Uniform Sales

We regularly host second-hand uniform sales to help families save money while supporting sustainability and raising funds for the College. Donations of good-quality uniforms are always welcome and can be dropped off at the school reception.

250 Club

Why not join our 250 Club? This is our in-house lottery, giving you the chance to win cash prizes every month while supporting the College. Numbers cost just £5 a month (you can purchase more than one). Each number is entered into a monthly draw for a £100 prize, with an additional £250 prize drawn at Christmas.

The 250 Club is open to parents, carers, grandparents, and anyone else who would like to support Hockerill College.
