Japan Exchange 2025: Farewell to Keio Students

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the Japan Exchange 2025 programme, during which 21 students and 2 teachers from Keio Chutobu, Tokyo, Japan, made their unforgettable journey to Hockerill. The excitement had been building as Keio and Hockerill students exchanged messages and eagerly counted down the days until they could finally meet in person.
The exchange students took full advantage of the Exeat weekend, enjoying a range of exciting activities, from exploring the historic sights of London to experiencing the thrill of live sports events with their exchange partners. Throughout the visit, Keio students immersed themselves in British high school life, participating in various lessons and engaging with their Hockerill peers over three action-packed days.
Now, as the exchange students head back to Japan, Hockerill students eagerly look forward to their return visit to Tokyo in October. This exchange is not only a celebration of culture and education but also a testament to the longstanding and valuable partnership between our schools.
Above all, the most cherished part of this experience has been the lifelong friendships that have been formed, bonds that transcend borders and will last a lifetime. We are incredibly proud of this exchange and look forward to continuing the tradition in the years to come.
