Air Experience Flying Hockerill CCF

Air Experience Flying Hockerill CCF

On Wednesday, 26th March 2025, four members of the RAF section from Hockerill CCF had the exciting opportunity to participate in Air Experience Flying (AEF) at RAF Wittering, marking the culmination of a year’s worth of training.

The day began early and included a thorough safety briefing before the group took to the skies. Each student spent 30 minutes flying aboard a Grob Tutor, learning about the aircraft and performing various aerobatic maneuvers, such as loop-the-loops and barrel rolls, experiencing the thrilling forces of 4 G’s.

One of the most memorable aspects of the day was the opportunity for students to take control of the aircraft. Kamal Ogunlola, along with his fellow participants, was given the chance to fly the aircraft under the guidance of experienced pilots, providing a unique and hands-on learning experience.

The day not only deepened their knowledge of aviation but also sparked a passion for flying that is sure to influence their future aspirations. It was an exhilarating and educational experience that all participants will remember for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of Kamal Ogunlola (pictured), and the other CCF members involved, for their dedication and enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing them continue to build on this experience.
